Custodian, Full-Time

Accupac is hiring for a full-time Custodian to join our 1st and WKND shift Team in our Mainland, PA. location.


Custodian basic job functions:

The Custodian is responsible primarily for all facility Custodial duties internally and externally as directed. This role will perform internal facilities Custodial duties including but not limited to the collection of trash and cardboard, disposal of broken pallets, cleaning spills, the mopping of floors, stripping and waxing floors, vacuuming, washing windows/blinds, dusting, buffing, shampooing carpets, cleaning bathrooms/break areas, and care for internal plants. In addition, the Custodian will perform general external facilities maintenance duties, including but not limited to policing the parking lot and removing snow and ice as needed.      

The Custodian will recommend safety considerations to Facilities Manager. In addition, this individual will respond to all building Custodial requests in a timely fashion, work to maintain a neat and orderly work area, and perform other duties as directed by the Manager. 
 

Custodian Essential Job Functions:  

• Ability to work well with other employees. 

• Effectiveness in managing own time and multi-duty tasks. 

• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and forklift. 

• Creativity shown in the simplification of departmental procedures. 

• Ability to maintain a neat and orderly facility. 

• Demonstration of safe work practices. 

• Degree of initiative shown in daily activities. 
   

Custodian Position Requirements:  

• High School Diploma or GED. 

• Ability to bend, stoop, pull and lift. 

• Ability to stand on concrete floors for full shift period. 

• Possess the ability to hear speech and/or alarms through plant noise.
