Position Description
The test director shall possess a basic knowledge of data analysis and data collection tools commonly employed in the information technology industry. The test director shall also have knowledge on the Test and Evaluation risk management process.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute a test event and present the resultant findings in a clear, concise report that gives the customer meaningful information regarding the system's ability to meet the event objectives and requirements.
 
  • Prepare the test environment, arrange MCTSSA logistical support, and adhere to established security procedures.
 
  • Identify and resolve programmatic and technical conflicts that arise during the conduct of the event.
 
  • Delegate and direct execution of test events in accordance with corresponding test plans within the required time constraints.
 
  • Develop and present briefs to ensure that customers, management, and test participants are updated on test event progress and any specific technical or programmatic issues that require their attention.
 
  • Develop a Test Plan, identifying the resources, schedule, and test cases required to achieve the test objectives.
 
  • Develop Test Cases and test Scripts to support systems under test and simulation tools.
 
  • Develop scenarios and supports mission thread development.
 
  • Develop the Test Report to ensure that all stated requirements and test objectives have been evaluated and the documented results adequately and accurately reflect the collected data and analysis conducted during the event.
 
  • Conduct requirements analysis and allocation.

Travel Requirements
Travel is anticipated to be 10% - 15% within the Continental United States and 5%-10% outside the Continental United States
