The Lodge at Historic Lewes
Vantage Point Retirement Living is currently seeking a dynamic, eager, smart, energetic, and relentlessly positive individual for the Associate Director of Community Relations role at our brand-new, soon to open community, The Lodge at Historic Lewes. Lewes Lodge is scheduled to open in the Summer 2023 and this role is vital to the success of the community.
Supported by a hands-on team, you will be integral to the sales and marketing efforts at Lewes Lodge. As the Associate Director of Community Relations, your focus will be on supporting the Community Relations Director by assisting in building relationships – with seniors themselves and those who support them in the decision to move to a community like ours. A vital part of this role is collaborating with the Community Relations team during all phases of the sales and marketing process ensuring Lewes Lodge achieves and maintains its budgeted occupancy and revenue growth.
Additionally, a key responsibility of the Associate Director will be to support the Community Relations Directors in the process of converting depositors and prospective residents into Members. This includes coordinating timelines, preparing documents and performing contract and agreement signings.  A “move-in coordinator” of sorts, it is essential that the Associate have strong organizational and project management skills.
A successful addition to the team will be a compassionate listener who builds deep connections and effectively communicates with seniors, their families and fellow team members.  Lewes Lodge employs a “culture of we,” so it is essential that embrace this as well.
The community relations team is dedicated to keeping the community full. This means you will support the team through the following primary duties and responsibilities:
  • Assisting prospective residents and depositors with the paperwork signing and planning their move-in experience once a deposit/reservation has been collected.
  • Being the main point of contact for all move-ins at Lewes Lodge, ensuring that each resident has a seamless and enjoyable move-in experience.
  • Collaborating with the Lewes Lodge team Ensure that apartments are ready for new residents and that everyone is prepared to welcome them.
  • Supporting the Community Relations team by scheduling, coordinating, and occasionally conducting tours as needed.
  • Assisting the Community Relations team with creating and implementing quarterly sales and marketing plans, including external business development, special events, and social media campaigns.
  • Helping plan and execute marketing events both on and off-site.
  • Conducting regular community tours and ensuring that the models and discovery room are always presentable and attractive.
  • Including other duties assigned by management.
