NOBU Hotel Atlanta, the state-of-the-art addition to the world-renowned NOBU Hospitality brand, is currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Room Attendant
As a Room Attendant you will ensure the hotel's established standards of cleanliness is maintained by cleaning assigned guest rooms. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. We are looking for people with positive attitudes and exceptional communication skills who can work a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of the business.
Essential Functions- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Realign furniture to floor plan.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team.
- Ability to operate with high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent hospitality skills.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required., College degree preferred.
- One to two years of supervisory experience ,prior experience with four star hotel brand preferred.,
- Computer and technical skills required.
- Experience with Opera Cloud, Hotsos, Rex, Amadeus and Windows helpful
- Ability to communicate, understand and speak English both verbally and written.
- prolonged standing and moving around, frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting.
- Ability exert energy to maneuver up to 200lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Work in varied conditions extreme heat or cold, varied noise levels
