Position Description
The Logistics Management Specialist will provide Manpower, Personnel and Training (MP&T) support to the Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS) and will be assigned directly to the PEO LS Senior Manpower, Personnel, and Training Lead. The Logistics Management Specialist will provide direct support to the MPT Lead and as needed support to the assigned program offices as directed.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct and or support conduct of MPT related analyses or research and provide reports or documentation as directed by PEO LS MPT Lead.  
  •  
  • Interact and develop relationships with program office personnel and other external stakeholders as needed to support completion of MPT activities requiring external input and support.
  •  
  • Independently conduct or provide support for the development and review of Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) planning documentation (e.g., Policy, Process, Analysis Reports, Plans, and Manpower Estimate Reports).
  •  
  • Review and provide comment on Training products (e.g. Tasks Lists, lesson plans, handouts, media, test packages, job aids) to ensure compliance with DOD and USMC training standards.  
  •  
  • Support ILAs, Pre-ILA Risk Assessments, as a product support MPT SME; review documents, identify deficiencies, provide recommendations and mitigation plans to MPT Lead and APEO LS Logistics.
  •  
  • Consolidate PEO MPT Weekly and Monthly reports, build briefing materials and support execution of MPT Cell meetings and activities.
  •  
  • Assist PEO LS MPT Lead in supporting MPT related IPTs, working groups, and meetings.  Capture minutes and Review IPT documentation as required.
  •  
  • Attend associated MPT program meetings as directed and produce meeting notes or minutes.
  •  
  • Develop, provide input, and submit for review, documentation required to meet contract obligations.
 
Education
*Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree
  • Background in the development of military training materials required
  •  
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint
