Position Overview:
As a Product Engineer at Super Color Digital, you will play a vital role in the development and enhancement of our signage and gaming products. You will be responsible for analyzing competing products in the market, identifying areas for improvement, and driving innovation to ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of the industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver exceptional products that meet both customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
This is an On-Site Position-No Remote
Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of competing products in the signage and gaming industry. Evaluate their features, performance, pricing, and market positioning to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
Product Development: Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop new and enhanced products that surpass competitor offerings. Use your technical expertise to contribute ideas and innovative solutions that improve the performance, functionality, and aesthetics of our products.
Market Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences in the signage and gaming sectors. Identify potential gaps in the market and propose new product concepts that align with market demands.
Product Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Conduct performance tests, user experience evaluations, and usability studies to validate product functionality and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure product development aligns with business objectives. Collaborate on product roadmaps, provide technical insights, and support marketing and sales initiatives with accurate product information.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product specifications, design changes, test results, and project timelines. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product development processes, quality standards, and overall efficiency. Seek feedback from customers, internal teams, and industry experts to incorporate valuable insights into future product iterations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Engineer or similar role in the signage or gaming industry.
Strong understanding of signage and gaming technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
Solid knowledge of product development processes, including concept ideation, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
Proficiency in analysis tools and methodologies for competitive research and product evaluation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
