Description

New + Found, Lawrence Group, & Integrate Construction, a design, construction & development consortium, is seeking a people advocate that provides support to the three-business unit enterprise. The Talent Development team is focused on identifying, assessing, developing, & retaining talent. The Talent Development (TD) Generalist provides primary day-to-day operational support for the leadership and employees within the organization. This position will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with important functions such as staffing, culture, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a general support to the Director of Talent Development & assists with the focuses of identifying, assessing, developing, & retaining talent.
  • Be the subject matter expert for the department on recruiting. Manages the recruitment life cycle for all full time & part time staff.
  • Researches, analyzes, evaluates, & resolves routine recruiting issues in line with standard policies & procedures.
  • Responsible for guidance, counsel, & training for hiring managers to employ diverse recruitment strategies & best practices with the result of a highly qualified diverse workforce.
  • Evaluates & manages the new hire orientation & onboarding process.
  • Helps with design & delivery of training programs and administers the performance management process.
  • Identifies & recommends program improvements, process improvements, & continual use of technology to streamline communication to ensure company follows all applicable local, state & federal laws.
  • Develops training modules to reinforce accountability at each level of the organization for supervision & enforcement of policy, & relevant laws that many policies are based on.
  • Responsible for establishing transparent & two-way communication between managers & non-management staff through skill development & awareness of policies.
  • Leads and supports the Business Resource Groups.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in human resources; or related area & 2+ years of directly related work experience; & / or equivalent experience / training.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting a plus. Preferably in Architecture, Development, &/or Construction.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication, empathy & active listening.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects & build relationships with others.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
