POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Operational functions to ensure the productivity, quality, training, and safety associated with the company’s assets remain in compliance with Federal/State regulations and the company’s own policies. This position performs the above for all Super Color Digital facilities.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - QUALITY:

1. Provides Leadership:

a. Provides coordination of quality procedures, instructions, specifications, and standards to ensure conformance to ISO standards and customer specifications, among other regulatory requirements, where applicable

b. Leads QMS steering team

c. Assists in resolution of equipment/technical/personnel problems

2. Provides Technical Support Services:

a. Oversees and maintains quality planning, non-conforming material, document and data control and corrective action systems within SCD organization

d. Facilitates teams for root cause analysis and corrective action determinations and implementation

e. Specifies and maintains necessary QC equipment/tooling to ensure conformance to customer specifications

f. Oversees and performs (external and internal) auditing functions

g. Regularly analyzes services provided for customers to develop new ways to better satisfy customer needs (new/different equipment, alternative work methods, improved quality/service, etc.)

3. Review and assist to resolve:

a. Rejected estimates

b. Resolutions requests (RR’s)

c. Credit memo requests

d. Internal re-work (IR’s)

e. Work order / Change orders

f. Margin discrepancies

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - EHS:

1. Safety

a. Facility audits

b. Facilitate testing

c. Facilitate training

d. Ensure OSHA program compliance

i. Writing and implementing programs

e. Maintain OSHA operational certifications

f. Records maintenance

g. Forklift/Aerial lift trainer

i. Test and certify employees

ii. Maintain forklift inspection logs

h. Maintain Global Harmonization compliance

i. SDS maintenance

2. Security

a. Camera monitoring

b. Suspicious activity investigation

c. Employee integrity checks

d. Security audits

e. Building walk arounds

f. Lock Down

i. Client specific policies and procedures

ii. Records maintenance

iii. Pic Patches

iv. Chain of custody and incident report forms

v. Training

g. Correlating with and serving as POC for local law enforcement

3. Environmental

a. Ensure EPA compliance

i. Writing and implementing programs

b. Maintain EPA operational certifications

c. Facilitate training

4. Health

a. Investigate work related injuries

b. Near miss/Accident investigation

5. Fleet Management

a. Driver medical card maintenance

b. DOT and UCR compliance

c. Extended stop, speeding, and GPS tracking

 

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES –

 

1. Establish trend tracking of all findings and report pertinent info to the appropriate managers

2. Work with management, including senior staff, to identity, collect, and publish appropriate metrics to successfully govern the business

3. Draft proposals to change policies and procedures with the goal of elevating safety, increasing efficiencies, and decreasing costs

 

 

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

1. Four-year college technical degree

2. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Able to articulate ideas and concepts in English to senior management, peers, and subordinates

3. Knowledge of computer programs and relevant software packages.

4. Ability to organize and prioritize work.

5. Five to ten years manufacturing/supervisory experience with five years of Quality related experience

6. Prefer ISO 9001 experience, including leading audits

7. Strong background in statistics, quality inspection methods, inspection equipment / metrology

8. Good understanding of lean manufacturing methods and dimensional tolerancing desired

9. Ability to travel 35-50% (between SCD sites as well as potential visits to suppliers, vendors, and customers)

Pay Range
$50,000.00   Annually to $60,000.00   Annually
