Job Purpose:
The Central Service Technician coordinates and collaborates the overall cleaning, sanitization, assembly and dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies needed for daily surgical procedures in surgery and related departments.
Essential Functions:- Preparing instruments and supplies to perform procedures and preparing operating field for procedures
- Demonstrates ability to create and maintain a sterile field
- Exhibits knowledge in the safe care and handling of instrumentation
- Supply management and other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:- CSR technician certification
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong commutation and interpersonal skills, with compassion and empathy
