Security Engineer 2
3+ Months W2 Contract
San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
The Challenge:
The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in securing cloud hosted services and environment. The successful candidate- will have deep industry experience and a proven track record in application and operational security. Must demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Have strong communication and collaboration skills and is comfortable interacting with both internal and external technical personnel. Requires limited instruction on day-to-day work and needs general instructions on new assignments. Focus on secure coding to deliver automated security based processes and workflows. Propose and implement improvements to security controls and processes. Provide documentation and training that is required to deliver and support our service.
What you'll do:- Evaluate information security program maturity, security controls, and security documentation for Adobe's strategic vendors.
- Review thread models for third-party integrations and provide guidance.
- Communicate security risks to the business and build risk mitigation plans.
- Support legal team with negotiation around Information security contract requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments within Security, Procurement, Legal on process improvements and workflow integrations to provide improved customer experience.
- Communicate and present key vendor security initiatives, practices and issues to business units.
- Benchmark the program against the third-party risk assessment programs from similar companies and propose improvements.
What you'll need:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in security, governance, risk and compliance.
- Detailed understanding of network security, identity and access management concepts, security certification reports.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully handle client-facing engagements.
- Experience managing risk in a global enterprise.
- Self-motivated and results oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance audits such as SOC 2, ISO and PCI DSS.
- Experience with JIRA, PowerBI, dashboards.
- CISSP, CISA, or other Information Security attestation(s) is a definite plus.
- Coding experience and PowerBI knowledge is a definite plus.
Pay Range:
$56.34 - $70.42/ HR
