We offer private infusion suites at our office in SW Portland, Oregon. Our second office in Eugene will open early 2024 and is allowing us to expand our reach of care to more communities along the coast, in the Willamette Valley and in Southern Oregon. Our home infusion services provide patients the option of receiving care from the comfort of their home.

We are recruiting a Nurse Supervisor to join our team of health care professionals. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will coordinate, direct, and supervise nursing activities to assure compassionate patient care. In addition to providing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and clinic standards, the clinical nurse supervisor will also promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.
Job type: Full-time
Pay range: $102,300-$130,000 annually, depending on experience.

Position responsibilities:- Administer biologics, TPN, antibiotics, IV fluids and other medications via infusion device.
- Safely and accurately administers medications, without errors, including oral, IM, SQ and IV products.
- Performs phlebotomy procedures, when necessary.
- Accurately performs necessary nursing responsibilities including, but not limited to obtaining lab specimens, and performing vital signs.
- Identifies, assesses, and diagnoses problems through patient assessment and interactions; and evaluates actual or potential patient health problems.
- Develops and participates in educating patients, their families, or significant others about post discharge care programs.
- Initiates patient care meetings with the health care team to revise the plan of care as the patient’s condition warrants.
- Maintains a safe and therapeutic patient care environment.
- Provides guidance and direction to members of the health care team to ensure quality patient care.
- Keeps current on advances in nursing care by participating in educational programs.
- Assists with building training and annual education resources.
- Orients and educates new staff in nursing techniques and departmental procedures.
- Provides and oversees direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocol and physicians’ orders.
- Utilizes knowledge of medications, procedures, infection control, and safety precaution; and initiates appropriate interventions in crisis situations.
- Participates in total quality management to positively affect patient and system outcomes to improve care.
- Documents patient care in the electronic medical record.
- Directs and delegates care to other team members.
- Provides safe, effective, appropriate, and comprehensive infusion services to infusion patients.
- Provides education and follow-up care after patients have been released.
- Is responsible for adherence to accreditation standards as they relate to nursing services provided.
- Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to nursing services. Is responsible for preparation for accreditation surveys and/or regulatory inspections and takes the lead role in the nursing aspects of inspections or surveys.
- Ensures compliance with company infection control requirements.
- Works with purchasing, finance, and pharmacy to ensure an appropriate medical supply formulary is established and maintained.
- Ensures nursing team is productive and fiscally responsible.
- Works collaboratively with pharmacy to ensure the highest level of patient care programs are in place.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required skills:- Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) with at least one (1) year of Infusion experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate
- Must have 3 years recent hospital, home health or acute care experience.
- Proficiency with personal computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Analytical, problem solving, memory retention, organizational and detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills including management of the angry customer.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to be respond timely to nursing needs and/or concerns.
- Project a professional business image telephonically and in person.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
