Essential Duties
1. Ensures the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans and flatware, and resetting dining stations.
2. Prepares dishwashing areas, dining areas and kitchen by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations on a daily basis.
3. Cleans machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as the dishwasher, coffee machine, pots, pans, mixers, etc. per the cleaning schedule.
4. Unloads and stores deliveries.
5. Sweeps and mops floors, especially in the event of a broken or spilled item.
6. Takes out the trash and rinses garbage cans.
7. Follows all sanitary and health-related protocols.
8. Reports kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
9. Supports other Tilly’s staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
10. Clocks in and out consistently and accurately by using the electronic timeclock system for all time worked and does not perform any work when not clocked-in.
Non-essential Duties
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Requirements
1. Ability to use kitchen equipment including, but not limited to oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer, and chef's knives.
2. Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts.
3. Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
4. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk, kneel, climb, sit, balance, squat, and crouch.
5. Ability to reach overhead.
6. Ability to see.
7. Ability to hear.
Work Environment
The work environment includes typical conditions of heat and cold involved in a kitchen environment.

Minimum Requirements
1. High school education or equivalent.
2. Minimal work experience as a dishwasher.
3. Proven experience operating a commercial dishwashing machine.
4. Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
