JOB SUMMARY/OBEJECTIVE: As a Junior Project Manager, you perform daily communication with sales Account Executive, Senior Project Manager & Project Manager on projects in progress. You communicate daily status reports to Senior Project Manager/Project Manager. You also create estimates per customer requests and convert those estimates to jobs (work orders). Lastly, you monitor projects through the production facility.

This is an On-Site Position from 11:00AM to 7:30PM Monday through Friday with Weekends as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with projects, performs a variety of duties related to full cycle and conclusion of different projects.
  • Assist following up with all aspects of assembling, coordinating, verifying and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams.
  • Assist to Department Management and respond to inquiries about projects assigned.
  • Daily direct communication with customers & Sales Account Executives regarding quotation requests and projects in progress.
  • Creates or modifies Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets as requested.
  • Communicates daily status reports to Sales Account Executives.
  • Creates Estimates per customer requests or RFQ Spreadsheets.
  • Converts Estimates to Work Orders and monitors projects through the production facility
  • Any other related task and/or responsibility assigned by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervisory duties.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This position might require long hours and occasional weekend work to follow up with specific projects assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
 
  1. At least 18 months of experience in Project Management position or related field.
  2. At least one years of experience in Customer Service.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
  4. Able to work in an environment with some chemical odors, temperature variations, noise, dust, and dirt.

Pay Range
$19.00   Hourly to $21.00   Hourly
