You will be the go-to financial leader of the firm, reporting directly to an owner and managing a staff of three accounting/administrative staff. You will prepare monthly financials, closely review all work in progress, calculate over/under billings on all projects – working closely with the project management staff, providing reporting and finalizing and reviewing their AIA billing/pay apps. Additionally, you will act as the primary contact with the banking and audit firm relationships. Other responsibilities include risk management, insurance, taxes, and other regulatory requirements with an emphasis on tracking the firm’s contractor’s licenses in multiple states.
Minimum Background Profile:-
- 5+ years' accounting experience and Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Background in Construction
- Exposure to calculating over & under billings
- Experience managing at least one staff member
