Position Summary:
In this role, you will work directly under a Civil Engineer on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects which may include transportation, utility, commercial, or other site/land development design projects. Duties and responsibilities include assisting with the development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports, as well as researching and applying jurisdictional codes and requirements (local, state, and/or federal). You will also assist in preparing calculations and reports for various disciplines and phases of land/site development and transportation projects, such as site drainage and pipe sizing, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, site grading, and street design.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Associate degree in Civil Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience with computer applications/design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, InRoads, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Word.  
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs to perform other design tasks.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively participate in and communicate with a project team and to also work independently.
  • Desire to work hard and produce high-quality design.
Desired Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with Vehicle Tracking, ArcGIS, Dynamo, and Beyond CAD.
  • Understanding of design standards for various jurisdictions and agencies in the Northern California area.

Pay Range
$60,000.00   Annually to $85,000.00   Annually
