Assembly Technician – Machine Build
:Somex Automation designs and builds Automated Equipment for the medical device, pharmaceutical and other highly regulated sectors. Main Tasks:
Machine building- Assembling high precision mechanical components o Preparing, laying out and wiring electrical control panel
- Field wiring, connecting devices and sensors back to panel
- Flag build issues and work with the team to solve problems
- Support when required for installation of equipment on a client site
Experience: Experience in machine building essential
• Background in working with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Preferably a familiarity with automation equipment
• Able to work to electrical schematics and 3D CAD or 2D build drawings
• Clean driving license & passport • Position may require travel to client sites within Ireland and possibly abroad to support installation
• Occasional working outside normal hours may be required to support customers
• Good communication skills
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Good team player
