Come join Atlanta’s newest luxury gem in the heart of Buckhead. We are seeking a Bellman to join our Front Office Team with the ability to provide our guest with exceptional customer service.

Job Summary

Bellmen are essential to the guest arrival experience. This role is responsible for the initial courteous and friend greeting of arriving guests. Provides retrieval of guest luggage and packages from arriving vehicle and provides transport of guest luggage to/from guest rooms as well as luggage storage. Escort guest to rooms and inform guest of all hotel services and features. Responsible for attending to immediate needs of each guest upon arrival and providing follow through attention throughout their stay while demonstrating a high level of customer service and efficiency. Thorough knowledge of all hotel services and amenities.

Essential Functions

· Maintain and improve the quality of the guest experience by anticipating guests’ needs always through prompt response and acknowledgement

· Retrieve and load all guest luggage, packages, etc. from arriving and to departing guest vehicles.

· Transport luggage from time of arrival to departure to include room moves

· Demonstrate a level of care and efficiency when handling guest property (luggage, packages, etc.)

· Coordinate group luggage requirements

· Correctly tag, store, and retrieve luggage from holding room.

· Maintain clear passage into the building and car drop off area.

· Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest

inquiries accurately.

· Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

· Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas

· Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended

· Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises

· Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service

procedures/standards

· Ensure that the Bell Desk is always attended; that all posting positions are maintained.

· Communicate anticipated business demands daily with each employee (arrivals/departures, group

functions, etc).

· Answer Bell Desk telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

· Document guest calls/requests for Bell Person assistance

· Maintain security and accurate record of all guest room keys issued to Bell/Door Staff.

· Assist Door Staff whenever necessary in performing all job functions.

· Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner

· Ensure that all pertinent information is documented in the logbook daily

· Explain to guest Fire Exists and Safety Procedures

· Show guest how to access the room with the key card

· Offer packing and unpacking services, explain laundry service
