ABOUT THE POSITION
The primary focus of this role will be on managing the Source to Pay (S2P) value stream of Astec’s Oracle Cloud implementation. Additionally, this candidate will serve as a JIRA subject matter expert for workplan maintenance and reporting.

Key Activities & Responsibilities
  • Based on Oracle Cloud implementation (Project Helix) direction and timeline, understand and manage Source to Pay (S2P) tasks and deliverables in a manner that adheres to Astec’s global Project Helix vision.
  • Continually manage and communicate project expectations to S2P value stream team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Track project milestones, schedule, deliverables, and resource requirements using JIRA and other project accepted tools.
  • Perform JIRA project administration activities as directed / needed.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Working with the S2P value stream, identify and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the S2P value stream.
  • Willingness to accept “ownership” and take on new challenges/opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, presentations, and other applicable project documentation.
  • Accept and assess status reports, change requests, and other applicable project documentation to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise S2P project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.


To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
  • 4 year college degree required
  • 5+ years direct work experience in an IT/Manufacturing ERP project implementation capacity, including all phases of Systems Implementation Life Cycle.
  • 2+ years experience in variety of Purchasing and/or Accounts Payable functions.
  • 2+ years experience/exposure to Oracle ERP functionality desired.
  • Proficiency utilizing JIRA project management software.
  • Proficiency using Excel including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Vizio.
  • Experience in traditional, scrum, agile, project management methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Experience leading or working in formal Project Management Organization (PMO).
  • Ability to manage and influence junior project managers as well as other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to successfully manage several projects at once.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.
  • Excellent organization skills.
