Job Description – Batching Technician
Location: Bridgeton, NJ
Shift: 1:00pm-Finish 
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
Oversees batch-mixing process of blending raw ingredients to produce plant-based milk products.  ​​​​​​

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate and understand the blending when processing a batch 
  • Accurately document information on blending paperwork 
  • Perform analytical tests
  • Operate forklift when needed following all safety protocols and GMP 
  • Responsible for disposition of unused raw ingredients, including proper labeling for storage 
  • Effectively maintain product storage and rotation  
  • Responsible for complex cleaning activities in manufacturing including sanitation in-line and off-line processes​​​​​​
  • Clean various items throughout the facility including but not limited to weighing containers, scoops, totes, floors and mixing equipment 
  • Attend and participate in daily shift meetings  
  • Uphold visual management of the work area  
  • Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies 
  • Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies 
  • Strict adherence to all GMP and food safety policies  
  • Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as needed 
  • Report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities for follow-up and repairs 
  • Create and follow-up on work orders for area as needed  
  • Completes all required training on time  
  • Other duties as assigned 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent  
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights, measures and record keeping 
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions 
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English 
  • Required to regularly lift up to 50lbs 
  • Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs ​​​​​​
