- Communicate with both existing and potential customers to form good relationships and to obtain the necessary information to properly respond to RFQs, bid requests, etc.
- Arrange face-to-face or over-the-phone business meetings with prospective customers/clients.
- Review clients’ technical scopes of work and develop solutions adapting products, equipment, and service offerings to support the project requirements.
- Review project technical documentation and develop exceptions and deviations to align with the Company's capabilities.
- Work with the Sales, Engineering, Projects, Operations, and Service departments to estimate project costs and generate bid packages and quotations.
- Prepare detailed project estimates showing expected costs and profit margins.
- Work with vendors to get written bids/quotes/pricing on goods and services.
- Log all quotations and follow up using standard practices.
- File bids and quotations with the client within the allotted time frames.
- Prepare sales reports of activities completed and pertinent project updates.
