Point C Health is hiring a VP of Human Resources for a full-time position in Chicago, IL. 

The position is local-remote, and you must be able to attend monthly meetings on-site.   
 
 

Point C is a third-party administration platform for medical and dental benefits for self-insured employers. Administrative services the company currently provides include claims processing, network management, and utilization review. Point C’s mission is to support TPA partners through business process innovations and product solutions that drive value for employers and enhance the member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Implementation:
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support organizational goals while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

​​​​​Employee Relations and Engagement:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues.
• Implement programs to foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
• Lead efforts to measure and improve employee satisfaction, including conducting surveys and implementing feedback mechanisms.

​​​​​​Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

• Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding of top talent.
• Develop innovative recruiting strategies to attract candidates in a competitive market.
•  Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Vendor Management:
• Manage relationships with vendors providing benefits and payroll services.
• Ensure the effective delivery of benefits programs and payroll processing, optimizing cost and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
• Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to ensure the competitiveness of the company's compensation and benefits offerings.

Mergers and Acquisitions:
• Lead HR due diligence efforts for potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Develop integration plans to successfully onboard new acquisitions and assimilate their employees into the company's culture.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during the merger and integration process.

• High energy, analytical, and results-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Possesses executive presence and the ability to influence and guide senior leadership in HR and cultural initiatives.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and high-volume workloads.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with stakeholders.
• Discreet and able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.


Qualifications:
•            Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
•            Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
•            Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within the private equity-backed or financial services industry.
•            Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
•            Knowledge of employment law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
•            Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are a plus.

Pay Range
$200,000.00   Annually to $250,000.00   Annually
