Delivery  Driver

Department: Shipping

Reports To: Shipping Manager

Work Schedule 10am-6:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY/OBEJECTIVE:

Employees who drive Super Color Digital vehicles with merchandise to client’s destinations are responsible for the delivering of the final product as it was sent out by Shipping employees to the client, creating safety and security for merchandise in the vehicles to assure client satisfaction. Must use the most efficient and direct routes, to deliver packages to the client before the end of the scheduled arrival time. They must also pickup materials from vendors on the way to clients. Keeping the vehicles in good condition and communicating any maintenance needs for the vehicles is a responsibility specific to drivers. Properly preparing and filing paperwork gives Super Color Digital employees a log to search when delivery questions arise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Deliver merchandise to clients and pick-up materials from vendors

· Coordinate with Shipping department on the best routes for pick up/delivery

· Check quantity and quality of both pickups/deliveries

· Maintain a positive, proactive atmosphere for Production personnel

· Have a clear understanding of Production workflow’s interrelationship with deliveries/pick-ups.

· Maintain and organize vehicles

· Login all pickups/deliveries properly and give paperwork to correct individuals

· Check that all information regarding Work Order is correct before accepting job, perform Driver duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order before giving the job to the client

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURSOF WORK:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· High school diploma or equivalent experience required

· 3+ years of driving employment/experience

· Valid state Driver’s License

· Drug dependency is unacceptable

· Must have warehouse, distribution and/or stockroom experience
