Industrial Air Flow Dynamics is hiring a Production Supervisor for a full-time position in Cleveland. TX. This is an on-site position.  
 
As a Production Siupervisor at Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. You will lead a team of production supervisors and operators, driving performance, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will be instrumental in meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.
 
Industrial Air Flow Dynamics is a leading provider of replacement expansion joints, pipe penetration seals and HRSG duct/liner replacement systems sold to power plants. We provide our customers with a turn-key solution through engineering support, 100% domestic high-quality manufacturing and installation field services. 

Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Execution: Develop production plans that align with sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels. Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely execution of production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and minimize downtime.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to enhance team performance, foster a culture of accountability, and promote professional growth and development.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. Implement Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process. Implement quality control measures, conduct regular inspections, and address any deviations or non-conformities to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management: Oversee raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory levels. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, optimize inventory turnover, and ensure adequate stock availability to support production schedules.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies within the manufacturing facility. Promote a culture of safety awareness, conduct regular safety audits, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the production team. Encourage employee involvement in problem-solving initiatives, kaizen events, and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase operational effectiveness.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, efficiency, quality, and safety. Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in the power generation or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Thorough understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality assurance principles.
  • Proficiency in implementing Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices applicable to manufacturing operations.
