AquaPhoenix Scientific is searching for a remote-based and experienced Software Sales Manager. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Software Sales Manager must be a driven and experienced Player/Coach sales leader responsible for driving sales and for coaching and mentoring a growing sales team to achieve its full potential.  This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, target, and secure new customers for a recently relaunched software product. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
As the Software Sales Manager you will:
    • Collaborate with the VP of Sales and cross-functional teams to refine the sales strategy, including positioning and go-to-market plans.
    • Become an expert on the Company’s proprietary platform of software products and services. Provide best in class solutions to end users advising prospects on which products will deliver the most value. 
    • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
    • Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Participate in annual Total Addressable Market ("TAM") refresh, identifying Top Prospects and value propositions by business case, industry, and product line.
    • Lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities, including prospecting, demoing, and closing deals.
    • Provide guidance and direction to the sales team, setting clear objectives and expectations for performance.
    • Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to executive leadership and Incline Equity.
    • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure sales performance and track progress towards goals.
    • Use data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams to accelerate account growth and superior customer experience.
    • Partner with Marketing on account-based marketing campaigns to channel effective demand generation.
    • Influence our product roadmap by sharing client feedback with our Commercial leaders and Product teams.
To be successful in the role you must possess:
  • 5-10+ years as a successful sales leader with experience in vertical market, B2B SaaS, preferably with at least 2 years in global people management.
  • Strong track record leading high-performing sales teams in high-growth environment.
  • Experience developing talent and coaching underperforming team members to obtain maximum performance objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing a range of commission and incentive plans.
  • Strong cross-functional partner who works seamlessly across Commercial, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Technology teams and influences customer-focused approach.
  • Experienced in crafting and executing pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Confident negotiator with complex, mature clients as well as new logo opportunities
  • Strong communicator and meeting facilitator who can effortlessly articulate Commercial vision and rally internal teams on board
  • Well-versed in diagnostic sales and value-based pricing methodologies
  • High proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint, and commercial applications such as CRM’s -Power BI, Tableau, HubSpot, or similar.
Founded in 2003, AquaPhoenix Scientific is a value-added distributor and private label manufacturer of water treatment testing products as well as service software to the industrial and education end markets. Based in Hanover, PA, AquaPhoenix provides water testing kits, calibration reagents and feed and control equipment for companies servicing industrial boilers and cooling towers.  Additionally, the Company works with curriculum developers to source, assemble and distribute chemistry, biology and physics education kits.

Pay Range
$120,000.00   Annually to $130,000.00   Annually
