Alliance Environmental Group is hiring a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in Azusa, CA. 
 
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of FP&A plays a central role in driving the company's financial strategy, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, and supporting key decision-making processes, particularly in relation to growth initiatives and M&A activities. This role serves as a strategic partner to the CFO and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure financial objectives are aligned with overall business goals.

We provide innovative solutions in the areas of asbestos and lead abatement, mold remediation, HVAC duct & system services, demolition and site clearing, heat treatment, insulation removal and replacement, and much more. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to develop and implement business strategies that support rapid growth and expansion, including M&A activities.
  • Support post-close integration to ensure seamless transition for all stakeholders.
  • Implement a data-driven approach to business management, enhancing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Develop comprehensive financial reporting tools to assess company performance and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial culture focused on driving profitable growth through both organic initiatives and strategic partnerships. (i.e., M&A, partnerships, market extensions, etc.).
  • Provide financial analysis and support throughout the business development process, including deal analysis, negotiation, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Set clear performance targets and drive accountability across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a finance executive with a strong track record of collaboration and achievement in a dynamic environment.
  • Background in Private Equity, Investment Banking, QoE, or Management Consulting preferred, with experience in M&A and financial management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with operational teams and provide strategic insights and guidance.
  • Fluency in understanding accounting practices and strong technical expertise in finance
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of providing transparent financial insights to senior leadership and investors.
  • Strategic agility and adaptability to navigate complex business challenges.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as Workday Adaptive, Power BI, and Sim Core preferred.
  • Technology oriented and experience with Excel, Power BI, and Infor is a plus. Alliance relies both on Excel and PowerBI as tools to analyze financial data, identify trends, forecast future performance, and support strategic decision-making processes within the organization.
