- Assemble top drive systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on top drive components.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble parts as needed.
- Install and configure hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Replace defective parts and components.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex problems.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools required for assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including assembly logs and maintenance records.
- Order replacement parts and manage logistics to ensure timely availability.
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 1 year’s general shop experience.
- Ability to use precision tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and operating a motor vehicle.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some lifting up to 45 pounds.
