Responsibilities: 

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects.  

• Prepares detailed specifications for programs.  

• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.  

• Has full technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.  

• Understands the business or function for which application is designed.  

• Duties also include instructing, directing and checking the work of other systems analysts and programming personnel. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Active IRS MBI Clearance 

• Knowledge and experience in C/C++ and Python programming skills with troubleshooting experience. 

• Must have minimum of 2 years of software programming work experience and interested in working with third party code vendors and maintaining customized systems. 

Preferred: 

• Any experience with Image scanning solution with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology related to document processing is plus. 

• Troubleshooting experience may be in any area as long as the candidate is very good at troubleshooting in general.
