General Day to Day Responsibilities Will Include…
  • Utilize proper food/beverage handling and service techniques, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of food/beverage items
  • Attend to the detail and presentation of each order and takes orders in a friendly and timely manner and provide a pleasant service experience to customers
  • Maintain knowledge of all specials and general description of all food and beverage items and explains to residents or guests.
  • Follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
  • Assist with orientation and training of new servers and bartenders
  • Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Assist with set-up and cleaning of service areas while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
  • Perform and completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
  • Maintain Dining/Bar and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
  • Assist in dining/bar and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervises employees within the Dining/Bar department(s) in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
     
The Right Candidate Should Have…
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred
  • One to three years experience preferred in assisted living, long term care or experience/exposure to the senior population.
