The Opportunity:
Vestaron is currently recruiting a Registration Manager to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC, reporting to the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.  The Registration Manager will be responsible for aspects of obtaining and maintaining federal and state registrations in the US.  Additionally, opportunities for involvement in international regulatory processes will exist. To be successful in this role, you must work well in a remote-team environment, be an excellent communicator and have an interest in the long-term wellbeing of agriculture. This position can be either remote-based OR office/hybrid-based (Research Triangle Park, NC)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing packages to submit to regulatory agencies for new active ingredient registration using conducted guideline studies.

  • Manage product labels.

  • Supervise contracted guideline studies required for registrations.

  • Overseeing development of safety data sheets.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, including proposed and final rules.

  • Oversee documentation efforts to ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations and standards.

  • Monitor regulatory affairs activities to ensure that they are aligned with corporate goals.

  • Monitor regulatory trends and evaluate for possible company impacts.

  • Address fee requirements for states and other jurisdictions.  


Requirements: 

  • PhD in chemistry, agriculture, environmental science, or related scientific field plus 5+ years of practical experience; MS with 8+ years of experience; or BS with 12+ years of experience

  • Industry experience in an agrochemical or biopesticide regulatory role working with the US EPA

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated ability to meet established timelines
