SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist will support the HR department in implementing and administering HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role will focus on full-cycle recruitment and ensure a seamless hiring process while handling general HR duties. The HR Generalist is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for finding and retaining top talent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on hiring decisions.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities to build a talent pipeline.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and smooth transition into the company.
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions to introduce company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Provide support to employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with significant recruiting responsibilities.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
