SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist will support the HR department in implementing and administering HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role will focus on full-cycle recruitment and ensure a seamless hiring process while handling general HR duties. The HR Generalist is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for finding and retaining top talent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on hiring decisions.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks.
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities to build a talent pipeline.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and smooth transition into the company.
- Conduct new employee orientation sessions to introduce company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Provide support to employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with significant recruiting responsibilities.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
