@Orchard LLC is retained by a government consulting firm specializing in data and records management with a goal of assisting customers with strategic and transformative ways in handling information management and data architecture. Our Client is seeking a skilled Web Application Tester with 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Selenium, Scrum, and Agile development methodologies, and a proven track record of ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications.
As a Web Application Tester, you will:- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Conduct manual testing, identifying and documenting defects.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Perform regression testing and ensure standards are met.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and Agile processes.
- Report and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Develop testing plan.
- Develop user acceptance tests.
Qualifications and Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related degree
- 3+ years of experience in software testing for web applications.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and automated test scripts.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with manual testing and issue-tracking tools like JIRA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Public Trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with performance and security testing.
