Sanitas is hiring a Per Diem Mammogram Technologist for our Broward - Lauderdale Lakes facility in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical activities related to screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Mammogram Technologist Responsibilities:
- Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other related devices.
- Position patients and use immobilization techniques as necessary; calculate exposure factors and assist physicians.
- Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
- Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtain additional images as needed.
- Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques; explain procedures to patients.
- Develop mammographic film and ensure paperwork matches for interpretation.
- Assist in maintaining and compiling statistical data.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all breast imaging procedures, including interventional procedures and ultrasound.
- Act as a team leader and monitor section procedures and supply charges for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in radiography and advanced certification in mammography.
- BLS certification.
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and initiative for process improvement.
- Capability to independently perform multiple complex tasks with minimal direction.
- Ability to interpret and communicate results effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
