Sanitas is hiring a Per Diem Mammogram Technologist for our Broward - Lauderdale Lakes facility in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical activities related to screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Mammogram Technologist Responsibilities:

• Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other related devices.
• Position patients and use immobilization techniques as necessary; calculate exposure factors and assist physicians.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
• Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtain additional images as needed.
• Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques; explain procedures to patients.
• Develop mammographic film and ensure paperwork matches for interpretation.
• Assist in maintaining and compiling statistical data.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all breast imaging procedures, including interventional procedures and ultrasound.
• Act as a team leader and monitor section procedures and supply charges for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in radiography and advanced certification in mammography.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and initiative for process improvement.
• Capability to independently perform multiple complex tasks with minimal direction.
• Ability to interpret and communicate results effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
