@Orchard is working with a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) focused on delivering a range of solutions to the US Government in Data Analytics, Change Management, and Audit Readiness. Our client wishes to hire an experienced Analytics Consultant to support a project with the US Navy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management, and Comptroller office.
This is a hybrid, mostly work-from-home role with occasional meetings at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA, therefore being commutable to Pentagon is a requirement. The role requires an active Secret Clearance.
As the Senior Analytics Consultant, you will be accountable for the following.- Manage and analyze fiscal, budget, procurement, or similar datasets.
- Leverage Jupiter/Advana to identify key insights to help manage SCRD’s business.
- Build and refine Qlik dashboards to improve the accuracy and relevancy of the information.
- Train SCRD end-users on how to access insights in Jupiter to manage their business portfolio.
Your background will include the following attributes and experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a DOD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of four (4) years of progressive and relevant experience within data analytics and reporting.
- Core skills needing demonstrated mastery include Python/SQL and data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Intrinsically motivated with a positive, “can do” outlook.
- Strong and effective verbal & written communication skills coupled with excellent critical thinking and analysis, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Preferred knowledge of DOD systems including Jupiter/Advana and data-modeling experience.
