Outreach Representative | REMOTE | Temp to Perm position | FT (37.5 hrs/wk – must work min 2 Saturdays month) | $16-17/hr + generous Bonus Plan upon permanent placement | Based out of Blue Bell, PA

Do you have experience in Collections? Are you looking for a REMOTE position? This could be the job for you! It is a full-time role (37.5 hrs/wk) working two days 8 AM – 4 PM, two nights 1 PM – 9 PM and Fridays from 8 AM – 3 PM.
Reps are required to work at least two Saturdays a month (from 8 AM – 12 PM) and will work a half day during the week when that occurs. All work-from-home equipment is provided by the Client – you just need to have a quiet workspace with no distractions during working hours.
A Day in the Life of an Outreach Representative- Responsible for managing accounts that are nearing the end of the collection process, often before they are written off as bad debt.
- Review and manage a portfolio of accounts that are in the final stages of the collection process.
- Prioritize accounts based on the likelihood of recovery, balance owed, and the time since last payment.
- Initiate contact with delinquent account holders via phone calls, emails, and letters.
- Negotiate payment plans, settlements, or other arrangements to recover outstanding debts.
- Records information about the financial status of students and/or co-signers and the status of collection efforts
- Updates collection systems to reflect action and result codes of each event
Requirements for the Outreach Representative position- 1-3 years of recent collections experience
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements (i.e. ledger cards)
- Effective communication skills
- Strong demonstrated ability with using Microsoft Office – especially Excel
- Ability to work independently in a remote position while meeting required goals
