@Orchard LLC has been retained by a well-established solutions provider within the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector to identify an experienced Project Controls Analyst to support their work in Bose, ID. If you are an experienced Cost Analyst with prior experience in the semiconductor industry, then our client has a challenge for you. Period of Performance is 6 Months with potential extension beyond the said period and a strong possibility for an FTE opportunity after 6 months on the contract.

Description:

Develop, establish, and maintain all aspects of the cost control effort on one or more of the larger, more complex, and demanding projects. The selected individual will utilize their broad experience, expertise, and exposure to various types of company projects and clients.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Full understanding of the project controls operating model employed by key partner firms within the EPCM workspace for a semiconductor industry or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in cost budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, with knowledge of cost-processing systems like SAP, Contruent, EcoSys, etc
  • Ability to support the internal Client reporting calendar and reporting requirements.
  • Expertise in Progress Measurement using EVM, including quantity-based EVM within partner work environments and financially-based EVM.
  • Familiarity with Progress Measurement methodologies for EPC and EPCm-related contracts, including CPI/SPI analyses.
  • Thorough comprehension of industry standards and guidelines related to Project Controls subject matter.
  • Proactive alignment with partners regarding standard implementation, development of Project Controls plans, and compliance with invoice management processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners to ensure Monthly Reports encompass all necessary Project Controls information, including Cost, EAC, Trend logs, EVM, Change Management, and Risk Management, etc.
  • Proficient in Project Controls standards, including WBS/CBS/SBS, Cash-Flow (VOWD), and Benchmarking, cost Management, Progress Measurement, and Change Management.
  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have the potential to perform in a lead capacity, as well as familiarity with industry practices.
  • Experience in Project Controls within the industrial manufacturing environment would be preferred but not required.
