Vieux Vins Group is actively recruiting for a dynamic Human Resource Manager. As the HR Manager, you will manage the practices, processes and strategies of the company. The Human Resource Manager will work a hybrid schedule - 4 days in a beautiful office space based in Brooklyn, with an additional 1 day a week work from home option. 

To be successful in the role, one must manage - 

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure HR initiatives support company goals.
  • Performance Management:

    • Establish and manage performance management systems, including goal setting and reviews.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and professional development.
  • Compensation and Benefits:

    • Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Compliance:

    • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
    • Develop and enforce HR policies in accordance with legal requirements.
  • HR Metrics and Analytics:

    • Implement HR metrics to assess program effectiveness.
    • Analyze workforce trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • HR Technology:

    • Utilize HR technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Payroll Specialties:

    • Process payroll accurately and on time.
    • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Multi-state HR exposure highly preferred (CA, NY, and CO markets)
  • Experience working with employee benefits and brokerage preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR programs.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and administration.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Pay Range
$80,000.00   Annually to $95,000.00   Annually
