United Aesthetics Alliance is seeking a Payroll Manager to own and maintain the end to end payroll process. The Payroll Manager will be the primary owner of all payroll and related processes at UAA. The Payroll Manager will work closely with both accounting and HR to ensure accuracy and completion of all payroll related processes. In addition, this position will also work directly with the payroll vendor for processing of payroll and improvements, as well as profile maintenance and timekeeping.
To be successful in the role, one must:
- Coordinate and execute semi-monthly payroll processing in payroll system
- Manage payroll tax filing process
- Coordinate and review yearly W-2 reporting
- Collaborate with Human Resources for benefit, and payroll processes
- Ensure semi-monthly timesheets are completed in a timely manner and accurate for payroll processing
- Identify payroll process improvements and enhance efficiency
- Manage payroll related audit requests, providing necessary documentation as requested
- Ownership of all payroll related compliance
- Provide guidance and leadership around payroll related activities as needed
- 5 years of financial experience and a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources or related field
- 3+ years in a previous role as Payroll Manager
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Paylocity and Multi-State experience
- Intermediate level Excel
- Prior experience working at a fast-growing company
- Prior experience managing a team
