Summary of Role:

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Clinical Director) will be a hands-on leader within the clinic and will travel to our DFW clinics. The clinical director will be the Wound Care provider, supervise Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, as well as have daily responsibility and oversight site of all clinical staff and operations within the facility. The staff includes Clinicians (LVN or MA), Front Desk Coordinator and Hyperbaric Technician. 
The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who can stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job. Necessary corrections must be made in a constructive, supportive manner. This is a position where guidelines, structure, and established policies must be followed closely, while working with and for others.
The ideal candidate will be of an entrepreneurial spirt, willing to help continue building the patient base while receiving a generous base salary and short-term incentive plan.

Travel Required: Yes: Must be able to travel to our DFW clinics 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients requiring wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
  • Maintain effective operation of the Hyperbaric Chamber and Facility through the oversight and leadership of all clinic employees
  • Guide, train, and lead staff on day-to-day operations of the clinic
  • Manage patient compliance through education and communication with referring physicians
  • Partner with Marketing Team and Sales Team for guidance and training support.
  • Support business development efforts including timely communication with referral sources, business partners, and community partners
  • Oversee effective and productive clinic operations including staff schedules, performance, and safety
  • Achievement of annual business goals and financial plan
  • Drive intentional culture and R3 values across all partners (team members, patients, referral sources, and community)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
  • Ensure safety of all patients as well as a safe and effective operation of hyperbaric chambers
  • Evaluate and assess all patients, new and existing, prior to patient undergoing hyperbaric treatment
  • Effectively and accurately maintain all patient records and documentation; Assess and record patient’s progress
  • Effectively communicate with referring physicians on updates regarding their patients
  • Effectively communicate with patients regarding their treatment and provide education to further assist patient with their healing
  • Effectively conduct peer to peer reviews as needed
  • Ensure knowledge of proper billing codes
  • Maintain up to date education and CME courses as required by law
  • Responsible for maintaining clinic supplies for treatments
  • Work with the Medical Director to ensure all medical issues are attended to
  • Actively participate in developing and maintaining relationships with physicians who can refer patients for necessary HBOT
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid PA / NP license in the state of Texas
  • 3-5 years of experience or more as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner is preferred
  • Wound care Experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must have up to date ACLS
  • Willing to get a wound care and hyperbaric certification.
  • Must have no limitations on license (if an NP must be able to see all ages)
  • Must be successfully credentialed by R3 business partners
