Position Overview:
In this role as a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of supporting Lean Portfolio Management strategies, playing a key part in shaping the organization's project landscape. You'll review new project ideas (intake), analyze data, and create reports that help leaders make smart choices. As a skilled communicator, you'll lead important discussions among stakeholders, helping to align initiatives to business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in balancing resources, optimizing project selection, and providing leadership with the insights needed to make informed strategic choices. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend analytical thinking with strategic planning in a dynamic financial services setting, where your contributions will have a tangible impact on organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support portfolio management processes within the APMO, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake analysis for new initiatives, developing Lean Business Cases to support decision-making.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to optimize portfolio data management and streamline workflows.
  • Lead collaborative forums with stakeholders, facilitating discussions on intake management and strategic alignment.
  • Assist in the prioritization of efforts based on the LPM framework to maximize business value.
  • Manage insightful portfolio metrics and reports, providing critical data for strategic decision-making.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate problem identification and opportunity assessment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven proficiency in product and portfolio analysis, with a background in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira Align for portfolio management, metrics, and dashboard creation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at presenting complex information to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices
  • Experience with SAFe Scaled Agile framework (highly advantageous)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a dynamic environment.
Position Details:
  • Contract Duration: Initial 6 months, extendable until EOY 2025
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office required)
