Position Overview:
As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you'll help guide important decisions by analyzing projects and portfolios managed with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and agile methods. You'll transform complex data from agile projects into actionable insights, develop key metrics, and create impactful executive reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, data visualization proficiency, and effective communication of complex information. You'll evaluate portfolio performance within agile frameworks, assess alignment with organizational goals, and provide insights to optimize LPM strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Support portfolio management processes within the APMO, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct in-depth portfolio segmentation analysis to optimize resource allocation and prioritization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive portfolio metrics to assess performance and strategic alignment.
- Create compelling executive-level reports and presentations, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and analyze portfolio data effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure portfolio initiatives support broader business goals.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop Lean Business Cases based on thorough discovery and analysis.
- Proven proficiency in product and portfolio analysis, with a focus on metrics development and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in portfolio segmentation and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in creating impactful executive-level reports and presentations.
- Strong skills in Azure DevOps (ADO) for portfolio management, metrics, and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a talent for deriving meaningful insights from complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at presenting complex information to diverse stakeholder groups.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Experience with SAFe Scaled Agile framework (highly advantageous).
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) principles and practices.
- Contract Duration: Initial 6 months, extendable until EOY 2025
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office required)
