Become a key player as a Accounting Manager:  A worldwide aircraft parts distributor, headquartered in Reno, NV. It is a family-owned company that includes a real estate entity with a diverse portfolio of approximately 11 properties and 21 associated entities. We are hiring a Accounting Manager at our Reno location. While Global Airtech is the hiring entity, the focus of this role is supporting the owners in private real estate investments and managing the books.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of real estate transactions, managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and auditors to maintain accurate and transparent financial records.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
  • Record cash and non-cash transactions, posting them to various General Ledger accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide review and analysis of General Ledger accounts.
  • Post and audit month-end and year-end journal entries, including year-end allocations from properties to legal entity level.
  • Produce monthly balance sheet and income statements and reconcile reports to mortgage/bank statements and depreciation/amortization schedules.
  • Prepare tenant billings, and post cash receipts.
  • Monitor accounts payable invoices, and disbursement and 1099 processes.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
  • Develop internal controls and standard operating procedures
  • Provide back up to Global Airtech (aviation side) accounting team with financial analysis and projects.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 5 -7 years experience producing financial statements, recording general ledger transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and 1099’s required​​​​​​
  • Intermediate excel skills required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time to meet monthly deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Pay Range: 
$80,000 annually, depending on experience
