The Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and daily execution of assigned programs/projects within the Infrastructure Department. Infrastructure covers various discipline scopes throughout the facility, mostly focusing on OSBL areas and discipline-specific programs.  Funding of Infrastructure is through OPEX MX07 category.  The role requires regular interaction with key stakeholders of maintenance integrity, operations, pressure equipment, contractors, and safety. The key expectations of this role include efficiently managing contracted crews, budgets, schedules, and driving excellence within the programs.

Dimensions:
  • No direct administrative reports but does include a significant leadership role in the department.
  • Provides direction and leadership to contract work force.
  • Infrastructure Annual Budget - $50M to $60M
  • Project Size – Varies, ranging from $.50mln to $10mln
  • Programs funded annually.  Some projects within the programs will be executed simultaneously.
  • Familiar with maintenance, projects and turnaround processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of all jobs safely and promotes company values.
  • Ensure assigned projects are progressing without delays in line with the current budgets and schedules.
  • Responsible for confirming and reporting the status of all work assigned daily.
  • Ensures crafts are highly productive by removal of barriers
  • Responsible for timesheet authorization for assigned contractors (Track).
  • Ensure Goal zero mindset is in place for contractors onsite.
  • Drives KPI compliance and improvement with respect to productivity, schedule attainment, and work permit delays.
  • Is an HSE Leader, meets HSE accountabilities / competencies for the position.
  • Ensures compliance to plant orders, policies, and procedures.
  • Coaches / advises other coordinators and construction contractor supervision.
  • Is mindful of and continues to look for opportunities to reduce construction scope and improve productivity and efficiencies.
  • Maintain a high percentage of time in the field driving work during execution.
  • Support pilots for new technologies associated with execution.
