Sanitas is hiring a Full-Time Ultrasound Technician for our Orlando - Osceola facility in Kissimmee, FL. This role is responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Ultrasound Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound equipment and other devices as appropriate.
- Position patients and calculate exposure factors to assist physicians.
- Perform quality control functions related to ultrasound and evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality.
- Prepare medical supplies using aseptic techniques; explain procedures to patients.
- Develop ultrasound film and match it with appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
- Assist in maintaining and compiling statistical data.
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing all ultrasound procedures, including interventional procedures.
- Act as a team leader and monitor ultrasound section procedures and supply charges for accuracy.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ARDMS Registered; ARDMS Abdominal Mammography required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or Vascular accredited program.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Relevant vocational coursework preferred.
