American Overhead Door & Dock is hiring a Controller for Accounting and Finance as a full-time job in Levittown, PA.
 
The Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, and driving the financial strategy in alignment with the company's growth objectives.  This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and make a significant impact on the organization's financial health.
 
American Overhead Door & Dock Inc is a service-oriented company that completes all work in house. This gives our customers the satisfaction of knowing that with one phone call many of the everyday problems that occur within a warehouse can be repaired. Whether it is a mechanical problem that may require fabricating and welding or an electrical control problem that would require expert troubleshooting, we are the company to call. Our expert mechanics are proficient in the installation & repairs of such equipment as dock levelers & vehicle restraints (‘dock locks’), rolling steel doors, sectional doors, sliding freezer doors and high-speed / high-performance doors.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Lead departmental transformation, including transitioning to NetSuite ERP from Quickbooks, integrating new staff, and developing team

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures

• Manager the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, cash flow management, and payroll

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements

• Oversee external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions

Job Qualifications:  

• Minimum of 7 years in professional accounting, including at least two as an accounting leader

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred

• 1-3 years of public accounting or equivalent audit/reporting experience is highly preferred

• Previous experience with Private Equity and strong analytical skills

• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite highly preferred
