We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the execution of software development projects using Agile methodologies. The Sr. Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of projects that meet business objectives and customer needs.
Role Responsibilities:- Agile Leadership:
- Lead and manage Agile projects from initiation through delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor teams in Agile practices to ensure continuous improvement in processes and delivery.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with product owners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track and manage project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication of project status, milestones, and changes to all relevant parties.
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and the project team to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Team Management:
- Support and empower team members to deliver high-quality work.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software development projects.
- Agile Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or SAFe Agilist) is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps).
- Leadership and Communication Skills:
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Time Management and Organization:
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results under pressure.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and practices.
- Basic understanding of software engineering principles and technologies.
- Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
