Summary
The Accountant I is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. The position also supports advanced tasks such as working with cloud-based ERP systems and applying GAAP principles, ensuring adherence to technological and security best practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial records, including financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to GAAP.
- Input data into cloud-based ERP systems for proper record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with the organization’s financial standards and accounting principles.
- Prepare forms, manuals, and reports as needed.
- Collaborate with department team members to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with technology protocols.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following minimum qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university.
- Experience: 7 years or more of accounting experience.
- Experience working with cloud-based ERP systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP accounting (may require passing a test).
- Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Highly organized with strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate professionally.
