Join our team of inclusive educators! We have an immediate openings for Special Education Teachers who can bring their unique ability to inspire students with diverse learning needs.
A day in the life of an Autistic Classroom Support Special Education Teacher:- Assist in providing an appropriate individualized programs in the least restrictive environment
- Aid students with the development of academic and interpersonal skills along with activities of daily living
- Supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas
- Developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines
- Collaborate with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues
- responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress
What you will need:- Valid PA teaching certificate in Special Education
- Dual certification in special education and content area(s) preferred
- Ability to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Ability to function independently
- Flexible, reliable and passionate
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Current Child Abuse History Clearance
