About the Position:
National Grid Renewables is seeking a NERC Compliance Intern. The NERC Compliance Intern is for an individual that is looking for a career experience in the renewables industry and is hungry to make a difference...as part of a great team Compliance. 
What you will be doing:
The NERC Compliance Intern will focus on one or two of the following areas:
 
  • Internal NERC Compliance Program:
    • Review and update existing procedures.
    • Draft new procedures as needed.
    • Assist generation sites with day-to-day NERC Compliance and documentation activities.
    • Assist with the preparation of required periodic submittals to various regulators.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Internal Audit
    • Assist the NERC Compliance SME with the mapping of evidence per NERC standards and requirements to develop a “Live” auditable document.
    • Conduct research to gather internal nerc evidence and documentation to meet all standards and requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned.
