Become a key player as a Project Manager:
NextDeavor is seeking a licensed Civil or Structural Engineer to serve as a full-time Project Manager / Professional Engineer for a high-quality structural engineering solutions company. With a team offering decades of combined expertise, they are recognized as a leader in renewable energy and have received multiple awards for growth and industry excellence, including recognition as a top engineering firm in California. In this role, you will lead a team of 1-3 staff members and manage various structural engineering projects, ensuring timely completion.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
  • Lead a team of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Drafters to project success
  • Motivate and utilize team skills to complete projects efficiently
  • Produce accurate structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details in a timely manner
  • Review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents
  • Ensure projects meet deliverable deadlines and stay within budget
  • Develop and maintain successful client relationships, striving for client satisfaction
  • Contribute positively to the community through impactful project work
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural or Civil engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California (Civil or Structural)
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Expertise in structural engineering calculations for residential, commercial, educational, and/or solar projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2015 or newer) 2D
  • Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
Pay Range:
$80,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience.
