EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for a Test Technician to join our team in our Danville, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.
Job Description:
The position of Test Technician is responsible for performing functional tests and/or calibrating production assemblies.- Performs functional testing using written test procedures provide by Engineering and/or the customer
- Performs calibration of EIT proprietary products
- Performs basic troubleshooting on assemblies that do not pass tests
Qualifications and Experience:- 2 year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, preferred
- 2 years of related experience, preferred
- Basic Electronics and trouble-shooting skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to detail
Working Conditions:
Normal manufacturing environment
9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off
